Hold it!  Hold it!…Got it!

Welcome to the blog for HSGS Photography, my company for providing photography in Savannah, GA.  I am a professional photographer in Savannah, and have been since completing my BFA in photography in 2004, from the Savannah College of Art and Design.   After graduating, I migrated back up north to New York, where I was involved in an internship with Joyce Tenneson, renowned fine art portrait photographer.  From there, I came back down south to live in Savannah and work in Hilton Head, primarily, as a portrait photographer, specializing in family beach portraits, children’s portraits, and freelance photography including work with the Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra, Hilton Head Monthly and Lowcountry Monthly Magazines.  I also was lucky enough to work with Island Communications, and CNSG Hilton Head, among others.

Photography has been a passion for  me going on ten years.  I was lucky enough to go to a high school in Tucson, AZ who’s facilities surpassed those at the University of Arizona, home to the archives of Ansel Adams in the Center for Creative Photography(where I was blessed to exhibit while still in high school).  I received expert instruction from the outset of my journey into my craft, and am very much enjoying this personal and private time of increasing my expertise as I nurture my creativity and make the transition from “employee” to “self-employed”.
